The food in the restuarant was very poor. We should have tried the other resturant.
the hotel was in a great location for my blind grandad to visit his sister who lives in folkstone
The one thing that was wrong with the hotel was the fact i took my blind grandfather and disabled nan to the hotel asking when i booked that they would be put in a disabled room, the room was lovely and wheel chair friendly but i could not put my nan in the shower as we had a bath not a walk in shower
The Hotel was clean and tidy, rooms well furnished. Fantastic view of the harbor and the boats.
The walls are paper thin and you can hear people in other rooms talking and malking a lot of noise. Fire alarm went of twice in the night first at 5.10am then ten minites later this totaly disrupeted our nights sleep.
just to relax and enjoy the wekkend
Valeu for money
Lifts partly not operational.
Excellent location by habour.
Package trips very apparent.
To be fair the hotel was fine - the rooms were very dated but clean enough. It is classed as a buget hotel and that is what it is.
I had a problem with noisy neighbours and the duty manager was able to move me to a quieter (and better) room. This I feel was good customer service.
we enjoyed our stay all of whice was good
very good value ok for a overnight stay
Lots of coach parties stayr
iam a regular here and like the sauna also breakfasts are filling
A great location ready for our trip to Centre Parcs in Belgium the next morning
The breakfast was poorly cooked, cold and the buffet inadequately replenished
I thought the hotel was very nice, very dated as i stayed twice in the 80's and i dont think it had changed much since then. but it was very comfortable for the price i paid and i thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, the entertainment was fantastic
the only thing that could be improved was the decor and the awful ceilings
this hotel is ideal for ferry to france wicht where we stay every time we come away for a few days so we alway go axross to calais
I use this hotel every month when traveling to France on the tunnel and it's spot on. Upgrade to premier room if at all possible and still only pay £35.00 !! Bargain.
